Regjerende seriemester Manchester City møter opprykkslaget Southampton på hjemmebane når den engelske eliteserien sparkes i gang 18. august.

Terminlisten ble gjort kjent mandag på Premier Leagues nettsted. Foruten å spille mot «The Saints» fra Sør-England i seriepremieren, skal blåtrøyene i de to neste kampene møte Liverpool på Anfield og Queens Park Rangers på eget gress.

Serietoer og byrival United har fått en tøff åpningskamp mot Everton borte. Første Manchester-derby spilles 8. desember på Citys hjemmebane, mens omvendt oppgjør er planlagt å gå på Old Trafford 6. april.

Arsenal tar imot Sunderland i 1. runde. Liverpool og klubbens nye manager Brendan Rodgers har i vente en tøff sesongstart. Etter bortekamp mot West Bromwich, skal rødtrøyene møte City (h), Arsenal (h), Sunderland (b) og United (h) i de fire neste oppgjørene.

For Chelsea blir det bortekamp mot Wigan i seriestarten, mens Tottenham skal møte Newcastle på St. James' Park.

I siste serierunde skal City møte Norwich på hjemmebane.
